On May 8th, 2026, my brother gave me a water bottle that has to be electrically charged so it can keep track of how much water you drank, and I thought this was not practical and weird, and here is why:

It is not necessary.
Since most of this data is stored on the Internet, the data could become vunerable in a data breach, and 3rd party hackers do not need to know stuff collected by the overengineered products.
It's a waste of money when you can by SIMPLER products online for less money.
